Lib Dems Spend £100,000+ on local parks

Local parks have received a massive financial boost thanks to the Liberal Democrat led Walworth Community Council.
The Community Councils were set up by the Liberal Democrats in April 2003-Walworth Community Council was set up to take decision making away from Peckham Town Hall and give residents a real say in what's happening in Walworth.
Jane Salmon said:
"I am delighted that the Liberal Democrat led Community Council has made this money available to improve Surrey Square Park and Salisbury Park."
"I also welcome the move to introduce Park Wardens to our parks to improve safety and their upkeep. Under Labour all our parks were left to go to rack and ruin. This new Lib Dem safety initiative will make all our parks places where local residents will feel even safer."
