Liberal Democrats call for Iraq War Inquiry

Southwark Liberal Democrat MP, Simon Hughes, and Liberal Democrats in Parliament are calling for a full public inquiry into what evidence the British intelligence services really had about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. The inquiry would also look at how the information was presented to Parliament and the public by the Labour government.
Simon Hughes MP said: "We need a full public inquiry with a wide brief and complete access to all the relevant people and papers."
GLA campaigner, Councillor Caroline Pidgeon added "It is time we learnt what evidence there was."
