Richard Porter, Parliamentary Spokesman for Camberwell & Peckham
Lib Dem Parliamentary Spokesman for Camberwell & Peckham Richard Porter was delighted to be invited by the directors and Chair of the Black Business Initiative to attend the first ever Black Business Awards in Southwark. The director of BBI praised Lib Dem Southwark Council for the support they have give to black and minority ethnic communities over the past year.
Commenting on the awards, Richard said "It was an honour to be invite to the first ever Black Business Awards ceremony. Lib Dem Southwark council have invested more money than ever before into the development of the local ethnic minority business forum as a crucial means of ensuring that black businesses in the area have a way of swapping ideas, contacts and experiences.
"I am committed to supporting all those in the BME community who overcome adversity to establish flourishing businesses in
Camberwell and Peckham and applaud the entrepreneurial spirit and commitment of all those who received awards at the ceremony"
