Simon Hughes, MP for North Southwark & Bermondsey, speaking at the "Off the Streets and into Work" (OSW) reception and presentation at the House of Commons, said:
"OSW does an enormous job providing advice, guidance and employment training to people in North Southwark & Bermondsey and across London who are homeless, or at risk of being homeless. Making sure that London's most excluded individuals are supported back into learning, training or employment is a key job if we are to maximise London's prosperity for everybody in our capital.
"I much look forward to this important recognition of the work of OSW in the Houses of Parliament. As the Member of Parliament for North Southwark & Bermondsey where OSW are based, it is a privilege to host this event and a great opportunity to bring together decision and policy-makers and others influential in London life."
