Olympic Bid Shows Benefit Of Rigorous Training

Simon Hughes MP, Liberal Democrat Spokesman for London, commenting on today's publication of the details of the London 2012 Olympic bid, said: "Today's details of the London 2012 Olympic bid show the benefit of rigorous training over the last few months.
"Just as our athletes need to train hard to bring home gold, Seb Coe and his team have worked hard to bring the Olympics to the UK. The transport plans look much better, the housing and sports legacy more appealing and the cheap tickets much more likely to bring the public on board.
"We have 8 months to make our case and all supporters must do it with enthusiasm."
