Ten good reasons for all Britain's communities to vote Liberal Democrat
WE OPPOSE: the loss of free speech and religious freedom
WE PROPOSE: a new Equality Act, to give equal rights in the UK for people of all faiths
WE OPPOSE: crime driven by race or faith hate such as Anti-Semitism and Islamophobia
WE PROPOSE: a ban on using any religion to incite racial hatred
WE OPPOSE: attacks on minority groups and using race prejudice to win political support
WE PROPOSE: respect for all our communities and celebration of the benefits of diversity
WE OPPOSE: opting out of all or part of the European Convention on Human Rights
WE PROPOSE: no detention in Belmarsh or elsewhere without fair judicial process
WE OPPOSE: compulsory ID cards
WE PROPOSE: to spend the money saved on 10,000 more police
WE OPPOSE: demonising or denying the value of immigrants
WE PROPOSE: realistic numbers of foreigner work permits based on our economic needs
WE OPPOSE: quotas for asylum seekers applying to stay here
WE PROPOSE: decisions on the right to asylum to be taken independently of politicians
WE OPPOSE: tuition fees and top up fees for students
WE PROPOSE: to scrap tuition and top up fees and maximise access to higher education
WE OPPOSE: delay in the Middle East peace process
WE PROPOSE: a two state solution: security for Israel, justice and a state for Palestinians
WE OPPOSE: Bush and Blair on Iraq, in breach of international law.
WE PROPOSE: support for the United Nations, never again fighting illegal, unjustified war
