Menzies Campbell with the Southwark Focus Team
On Thursday May 4th vote Liberal Democrat to make Southwark an even better place to live and work.
Over the last four years Southwark Liberal Democrats have made huge progress sorting out 40 years of neglect under Labour. In 2002 Southwark had one of the highest council taxes in London and some of the poorest services - recycling was going backwards, housing benefit was in a mess, and we had the 5th dirtiest streets in London.
Since then the Liberal Democrats have delivered all of their key election promises:
This year we are pledging to keep council tax low, to open 3 new schools, to double recycling, to refurbish all our leisure centres to a 21 st century, to give our wardens more powers to tackle anti-social behaviour, and to build 3000 affordable homes.
Our excellent team have fought a very positive campaign and have been listening to your views across the borough. Southwark Liberal Democrats pledge to work hard for the local community and to make Southwark cleaner, greener and safer.
On May 4th the message is simple:
SOUTHWARK'S GETTING BETTER, DON'T LET LABOUR RUIN IT
