The Liberal Democrat campaign to re-elect Simon Hughes and win control of Southwark council is being boosted by record numbers of volunteers.
People are backing Nick Clegg's positive message of building a fairer Britain, while Gordon Brown's Labour party seem more and more tired and out of touch.
New volunteer Luisa said:
"I was so pleased to meet other Lib Dem helpers. It's a really fun campaign - the buzz is incredible and it's nice to be part of something different - you can sense something special is happening."
