Labour run Southwark council is cutting money for road safety outside schools like Bessemer Grange, Dulwich Hamlet and Alleyns.
Your local Liberal Democrat campaigners are determined to keep the school crossing patrols scheme. We are working with local residents and schools to look into possible solutions.
If we get enough signatures we can present this petition to the council and try to get Labour councillors to change their minds.
"I/We the undersigned call on Southwark Council to keep the lollipop ladies and men at our school crossings, and maintain the school crossing safety schemes that keep our children safe on Southwark's roads"
Even if you've already signed this petition, you can use the printable petition sheet to collect more signatures from your friends and neighbours.
You could go door to door on your street or pass the sheet around at a local event. Good places to leave a few copies include shops, pubs, libraries, and post offices - but don't forget to collect them and send them back to us.
When complete, please return (as soon as possible) to: Southwark Liberal Democrats, 4 Market Place, Bermondsey, SE16 3UQ.
