The Labour council has signed a deal on the Elephant and Castle which does not include a leisure centre, despite their election promises.
Residents have for years made it absolutely clear they demand a new leisure centre, with all the existing facilities replaced and a reopened swimming pool.
If you agree with Simon Hughes MP and the Liberal Democrats that we need to stop this Labour u-turn - join our campaign today.
Register your views online (www.southwark-libdems.org.uk) or sign our petition at Simon Hughes' office in The Blue Market.
Even if you've already signed this petition, you can use the printable petition sheet to collect more signatures from your friends and neighbours.
You could go door to door on your street or pass the sheet around at a local event. Good places to leave a few copies include shops, pubs, libraries, and post offices - but don't forget to collect them and send them back to us.
When complete, please return (as soon as possible) to: Southwark Liberal Democrats, 4 Market Place, London SE16 3UQ.
