To make sure a new leisure centre will be part of the regenerated Elephant and Castle
The Labour council has signed a deal on the Elephant and Castle which does not include a leisure centre, despite their election promises.
Residents have for years made it absolutely clear they demand a new leisure centre, with all the existing facilities replaced and a reopened swimming pool.
